Most kitchen cabinet storage do not have vertical storage space for large, flat cookware such as baking trays and pizza pans. To deliver it, simply remove the bottom shelf, cut a vertical plywood panel and attach it to the bottom of the cabinet with furniture brackets and the top with a strip of wood. Free the drawer space by hanging measuring cups in a kitchen cupboard. Place and mount a wooden strip so that the cups can hang between the shelves and the door can close completely.
Fit a second strip for your measuring spoons and then screw the cup hooks to both strips. Do not keep the manuals for your kitchen and bath accessories away. Instead, place them in a plastic bag and keep the bag in the cupboard under the sink. They are always exactly where you need them. Also throw in paint samples and spare parts for the cabinet.
Backsplash racks offer easy access and stylish storage. Most versions only take a few minutes to install. However, backsplash racks have some drawbacks. All your kitchen utensils must look good because they can be seen. And if you ever decide to remove the rack, you’ll be left with screw holes in the backsplash; not a big problem with drywall, but ugly and unfixable in tiles.
